In Friday's league outing, the Nedrose Cardinals (Minot, ND) basketball squad edged the host Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), by a count of 52-48.
The Cardinals (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND). The go into the A Region 3 outing with a 17-2 record. In their last outing, South Prairie/Max held off Watford City (Watford City, ND), 51-31, in a non-league outing.
The Braves now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bottineau for a A Region 3 outing on Monday, February 5. Turtle Mountain will clash with a Braves/Stars squad coming off a 58-21 league win over Dunseith (Dunseith, ND). The Braves/Stars record now stands at 17-2.
