North Carolina High School Basketball - North Duplin trounces Neuse Charter

February 2, 2024: Calypso, NC 28365

The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC), 60-38 in Friday's league battle.

The Rebels now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a 1A Carolina test on Tuesday, February 6. North Duplin will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 39-34 league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Leopards record now stands at 7-9.

The Cougars (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats come into the 1A Carolina battle with a 0-15 record. In their last battle, Hobbton was overwhelmed by Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 51-17, in a league battle.
