In Friday's league outing, the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN), by a margin of 77-47.

The Indians (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 1-21 record. In their last outing, Red Rock Central was trounced by Edgerton (Edgerton, MN), 72-42, in a league outing.

The Greyhounds now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a A Section 2 outing on Tuesday, February 6. New Ulm Cathedral will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 75-45 league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
