Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA), 58-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Oglethorpe County upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a A D1 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Jasper County lost 58-28 in their recent league bout against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) in a A D1 Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Prince Avenue Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 58-28 league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA).
