Texas High School Basketball - Whitesboro ripped by Ponder

The Ponder Lions basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats to 26 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 28-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to S & S Consolidated for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Ponder will battle a Rams team coming off a 58-23 league win over Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Rams record now stands at 18-12.
The Bearcats (15-16) will now prepare for their contest against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 8-22 record. In their last contest, Callisburg triumphed over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX), 52-18, in a league contest.
