Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS), 72-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Presbyterian Christian upgrades its record to 22-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS) to play the Patriots in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 19-10. Jackson Prep won 38-34 in their recent league bout against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)

Next up, the Bruins play the Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS) in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. St. Joseph Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
