The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Vestaburg Wolverines to 13 in the Irish league victory on Friday.

The Irish now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a Mid-State contest on Wednesday, February 7. Sacred Heart Academy will battle a Huskies team coming off a 69-24 league win over Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 10-4.

The Wolverines (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets come into the Mid-State contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Coleman was routed by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 35-15, in a league contest.
