Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tabernacle Christian Ram (Monroe, NC), 59-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Shining Light Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Sharks travel to Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Mountain View Christian Academy won 41-18 in their recent non-league bout against Bethel Christian Academy (Canton, NC)

Next up, the Ram clash with the Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders (Cramerton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Tabernacle Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC).
