Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), saw South Warren's basketball squad knock off Warren Central by a count of 52-34.

With the victory, South Warren upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Russellville (Russellville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-18. Russellville lost 77-26 in their recent league challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)

Next up, the Dragons play the Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) in a District 15 challenge, on Monday, February 5. Warren Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 89-30 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).
