Georgia High School Basketball - Terrell Academy trounces Valwood

The Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) basketball crushed the host Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA), 54-19 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA). The Panthers go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Tiftarea Academy was trounced by Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA), 56-23, in a league test.
The Valiants now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Highland Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Valwood will encounter a EAGLES squad coming off a 44-29 league loss to Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA). The EAGLES record now stands at 1-15.
