The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Dayton Dust Devils to 41 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fernley for a contest on Saturday, February 3. Spring Creek will meet a Vaqueros team coming off a 54-7 league loss to Elko (Elko, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 0-9.
The Dust Devils (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Elko nudged Fernley (Fernley, NV), 54-7, in a league contest.
