In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a tight 33-32 triumph over the Albemarle Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 13. Union Academy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 42-10 non-league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
With the defeat, Albemarle moves to 5-3 on the year.
