The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Cape Fear Colts to 7 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jack Britt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Seventy-First will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 34-27 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-3.
The Colts (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Jack Britt was routed by Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC), 48-21, in a non-league contest.
