Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA), 32-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Godwin upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Eagles host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Louisa County lost 32-31 in their recent non-league bout against Orange County (Orange, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a game, on Friday, February 9. Deep Run will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.
