In Friday's non-league outing, the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), by a count of 43-22.
The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Concord was ripped by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 33-24, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, East Rowan moves to 5-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 6. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 9-5. Northwest Cabarrus won 34-14 in their recent non-league match against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
