In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Forbush Falcons basketball team scored a good 42-31 triumph over the North Surry Greyhounds.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 6. Forbush will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 32-25 non-league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC).
