North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek overwhelmed by North Mecklenburg

The North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks to 9 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. North Mecklenburg will battle a Cougars team coming off a 34-18 non-league win over Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
The Mavericks (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lab University Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Lab Rats come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Lab University Prep triumphed over Covenant Classical (Concord, NC), 75-47, in a non-league contest.
