Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Esparto Spartans (Esparto, CA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams face the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a Golden Empire League challenge, on Monday, February 5. Dixon will attempt to better on its 16-6 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Kennedy (Sacramento, CA).

The Spartans now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Christian for a Sierra Delta League challenge on Monday, February 5. Esparto will face a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-2.
