In Friday's league battle, the host Klein Oak Panthers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Klein Cain Hurricanes.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Waller (Waller, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Waller was nudged by Klein (Klein, TX), 4-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Klein Collins Tigers (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 15 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Klein Cain will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 5-6 record after their 1-1 league Klein Forest (Houston, TX).
