The Leavitt Hornets ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the host Brunswick Dragons to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Leavitt moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to face the Rangers in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. The Rangers go into the contest with a record of 9-1.
The Dragons now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden Hills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Brunswick will face a Windjammers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Windjammers record now stands at 7-5.
