With the victory, Gaylord betters its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Huron (New Boston, MI) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 4-17. Huron lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI)

The Oilers now have a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gladwin for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Flying G's squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 15-2.
