Toms River East Raiders (Toms River, NJ) fans left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the host Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 3-2 in a non-league match.

The Raiders (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Freehold Township was nipped by Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ), 4-1, in a league match.

Next up, the Bucs encounter the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 7. Red Bank Regional will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record.
