Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), 42-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Adena upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to play the Bearcats in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Pioneers play the Southeastern Panthers (Chillicothe, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Zane Trace will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 46-25 league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH).
