North Carolina High School Basketball - North Davidson edged by Asheboro

The North Davidson Black Knights basketball team (Lexington, NC), was nudged 50-49 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC)

The Blue Comets now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ledford for a battle on Tuesday, February 6. Asheboro will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-56 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-10.

The Black Knights (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the battle with a 18-0 record. In their last battle, Central Davidson edged Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 80-35, in a league battle.
