Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), 46-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Asheville Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-11. Forsyth Home Educators lost 74-34 in their recent league bout against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Brevard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 56-12 non-league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).
