The Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 51-23 in Friday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, South Brunswick was trounced by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 68-26, in a non-league test.
The Screaming Eagle now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host West Brunswick for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6.
