Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bear Creek upgrades its record to 1-11 on the season. The Bears host Columbine (Littleton, CO) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Columbine lost 72-44 in their recent league bout against Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 53-36 league win over Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO).
