The Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Trojans to 23 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Wilmington Christian Academy will battle a Heat team coming off a 71-14 non-league win over Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC). The Heat record now stands at 8-7.

The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Durham, NC). The Patriots come into the contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian was defeated by Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC), 47-39, in a league contest.
