Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA), 61-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buckingham upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Amelia County won 41-18 in their recent non-league bout against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)

Next up, the Dukes play the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Statesmen come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
