Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA), 43-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Clarke County upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Central Woodstock won 46-28 in their recent non-league bout against Madison County (Madison, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rappahannock County (Washington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Luray will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 46-33 non-league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
