The Nelson County Governors basketball team (Lovingston, VA), dropped 51-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA)
The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham for a battle on Tuesday, February 6. Dan River will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 45-39 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-9.
The Governors (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record.
