With the victory, East Surry improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to confront the Sauras in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Sauras come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. South Stokes won 60-40 in their recent non-league challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)

Next up, the Eagles confront the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Wilkes Central will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 38-26 non-league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
