The J.I. Burton Black Raiders basketball team (Norton, VA), was overwhelmed 47-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA)
The Spartans now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3.
The Black Raiders (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Twin Springs was overwhelmed by Lee (Jonesville, VA), 45-30, in a non-league battle.
