Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), 56-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Lynbrook upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Kathleen MacDonald (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Condor in a bout on Saturday, February 3. The Condor go into the bout with a record of 11-8.

Next up, the Firebirds clash with the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Fremont will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 49-35 league win over Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA).
