The Gray Stone Day Knights basketball team (Misenheimer, NC), was overwhelmed 74-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC)

The Comets now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Stanly for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. North Stanly will confront a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 8-6.

The Knights (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Union Academy trounced Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 33-26, in a non-league battle.
