The Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA), 58-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Pioneers (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Liberty went down by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 71-47, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Rustburg will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 39-24 non-league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-11.
