With the victory, Southwest SD upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign.

Next up, the Lancers play the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Komets come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 63-42 league win over High Tech SD (San Diego, CA).
