Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles (Asheville, NC), 40-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Lure Classical Academy upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) in a bout, on Monday, February 5. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
