Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rappahannock upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Westmoreland won 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
