The Oakmont Vikings basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras to 31 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada Union for a contest on Wednesday, February 7. Oakmont will battle a Miners team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Miners record now stands at 16-8.

The Fighting Zebras (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins enter the contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Ponderosa was defeated by West Park (Roseville, CA), 67-65, in a league contest.
