The New Hanover Wildcats routed the host South Brunswick Cougars basketball team by a final score of 68-26 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 6. New Hanover will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 11-5 record after their 43-34 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
With the defeat, South Brunswick moves to 3-13 on the year. The Cougars travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 6. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 10-2.
