In Friday's league outing, the Non JV Opponent (, ) basketball squad nipped the visiting Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC), by a margin of 32-30.
The (90-144) will now prepare for their outing against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.
The Generals now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Laurence Manning Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Thomas Sumter Academy will clash with a Swampcats squad coming off a 57-41 league loss to Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Swampcats record now stands at 3-3.
