The Orcutt Academy Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Santa Maria Saints to 30 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morro Bay for a contest on Tuesday, February 6. Orcutt Academy will battle a Pirates team coming off a 30-29 league loss to Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-5.
The Saints (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA). The Panthers come into the contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Pioneer Valley triumphed over Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 57-43, in a league contest.
