Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Northern Guilford lost 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Southeast Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 79-42 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC).
