Next, the Wildcats confront the Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Angleton will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Ball (Galveston, TX).

The Stingarees now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Friendswood for a 5A Region 3 District 18 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. Texas City will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-8.
