Next, the Sandcrabs confront the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Calhoun will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Ricebirds enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 5-1 league win over Columbus (Columbus, TX).

The Sharks now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hallettsville for a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. Palacios will confront a Brahmas team coming off a 1-1 league Wharton (Wharton, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-7.
