In Friday's league battle, the visiting St. Thomas Catholic Eagles soccer squad scored a close 6-2 triumph over the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders.
The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Panthers come into the Division 1 District 2 battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X nudged Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.
