California High School Basketball - St. Monica bests St. Mary's Academy

The St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) basketball toppled the visiting St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA), 60-49 in Sunday's league bout.
The Mariners now possess a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle for a Del Rey bout on Tuesday, February 4. St. Monica will play a Lancers team coming off a 53-25 non-league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, St. Mary's Academy falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Belles travel to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to play the Knights in a Del Rey bout on Monday, February 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Bishop Montgomery won 58-41 in their recent league bout against La Salle (Pasadena, CA)
