The Hector Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Hackett Hornets to 59 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now have a 17-0 record. They play next when they host Westside for a 2A Region 4 game on Tuesday, February 3. Hector will confront a Rebels team coming off a 65-44 league loss to Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 4-17.

With the loss, Hackett falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host Acorn (Mena, AR) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, February 3. The Tigers enter the outing with a record of 6-19.
