The Lyford Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Port Isabel Tarpons to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Raymondville (Raymondville, TX). The Bearkats go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Raymondville gained a win over La Villa (La Villa, TX), 13-0, in a non-league match.
The Tarpons (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
